Flying Einstein - http://www.flyingeinstein.com - manufacturers of the Quadrino Multiwii flight controlled board have issued a recall on their products. Unfortunately this is what the XP2 RTF and ARTF kits are currently using.

We are very disappointed that the recent products we have been delivering
are not 100% the best they can be. Even though we personally test fly every
XP2 RTF, not all the defective boards have been caught immediately. A
defective Quadrino board will cause sporadic behavior during the first
several flights and should be replaced.

If you have an XP2 with a serial number between 28-108 (serial numbers are
engraved on bottom of your radios) and experiencing irregular flights
(uncontrollable flips or take offs) you may have a bad Quadrino board.

To fix this problem, we at XproHeli are going to personally handle the
warranty exchange for you at no cost (including shipping). We want to make
sure that every XP2 owner has a safe ready to fly quadcopter that can
capture amazing aerial videos.

There are going to be two options for sending back your XP2 for the
Quadrino warranty exchange.

Option #1 — Price: Free
XproHeli will pay all shipping fees to ship back your XP2 and Radio (we do
not need batteries or charger). We will replace the defective Quadrino
board with a new non-defective Quadrino board and make sure that it is
ready to fly.

Option #2 — Price: $130
XproHeli will pay all shipping fees to ship back your XP2 and Radio (we do
not need batteries or charger). We will UPGRADE your Quadrino board to the
new DJI Naza board and make sure that it is ready to fly. This will also
include a new custom-mounting bracket for the Naza board. The Naza board
will also feature two modes — manual (or butter mode) and an altitude
stable mode (self stabilizing). You can switch between modes by flipping
the gear switch on your radio, which will be indicated by a flashing light
on the Naza board. The DJI Naza board currently retails for $230. We have
been testing the performance of this board for the last several months and
so far we are really impressed! We are working towards getting dealer
status in the future so we can offer it in our XP2 RTF package.

Again we are very sorry for the inconvenience of the Quadrino Multiwii
board recall. Xproheli wants to differentiate itself from the other guys by
not only offering great products, but also by offering great support for
our customers, even when that means loosing money to make things right.

If you have a defective Quadrino board, or think you have a defective
Quadrino board, or simply want to upgrade to the DGI Naza board at reduce
pricing, please email xproheli@gmail.com with the subject line “Quadrino
Multiwii Recall - Your Name” and include your serial number and contact
info in the message.

Thank you,
Hans Skjersaa
